why 'youth ministers'
as i have come to understand the role of the church within the youth ministry i have come to see that the role of 'minister' is not just for a staff person with the masses being 'volunteers' or 'adults.' you are ministers and the youth ministry of first umc of hendersonville is your ministry. so two quick thoughts.
- the minister and their ministry. this is something that you are committed to. it is where you have searched your Christian faith experience and God has placed you.
- a minister is more than just a body. you are entrusted to use the gifts given to you to help; teach, nuture, converse, support, dream, evangelize with the youth to lay foundations for their; grace, wisdom, faith, spiritual practices, theology, & Christology.
