starting up & getting out

so with my first log i figure an introduction is appropriate. gavin, living in nashville. i've got a great girlfriend and two of the best dogs ever. i have many works but most certainly my passion is ministry with youth and worship. since a blog is collection of thoughts and many thoughts revolve around these fine things i hope there is something that won't bore you completely.

over the future days i will hope to share my thoughts and experiences on a clear need for church to recognize a change from cultural influences on the church to reclaiming the mysteries of spiritual growth born in the traditions of early church, desert fathers and mothers and monastic discipline. i am looking forward to it.. and again.. i hope i don't bore..
