pray for the vote

i read today that voting started in australia for a new iraqi government. i encourage you all, regardless of your feelings towards the war in iraq, to be in prayer for the people as they enact the first steps in a free government. the people of iraq, i feel, are showing great courage and faith in a system of government that they may not completely understand by running for office and stepping into lines of gunfire or car bombs in order to cast a vote.
