ugh!! i am quite grossed out by watching larry king. if you missed it, larry had invited a few of the highlighted "25 most influential evangelicals" by time magazine. on the forum, franklin graham, the lahaye's, bishop td jakes, brian mclaren. okay, so upon catching up with the program (about 5-10 minutes in) it was apparent that people brought their agenda, especially the laheye's. consequently the rest of the panel were doing damage control. this i suppose is right along line with the listing, many on the list were noted for their political influence or closeness to the president.
brian and the bishop were recognized as being compassionate. while franklin pulled the logic of the conservative perspective, the laheye's would spout out more vague nonsense. this brings a question. why does someone who has written spiritual fiction and sold millions of this said fiction become a voice for the masses?
