beanie babies to baghdad: so it's not baghdad, who cares. here's my bro after his patrolling unit stopped to hand out some toys to the children; stuffed animals, shoes, even a scooter, and more stuff i am sure.
when i really think about scenes like this i wonder if our power yeilding media markets take responsibilty to let the citizens of the county know that they can support the troops and show the true compassion of the american people & other coalition countries by sending items like this to let them know that we support them not just through the crosshairs of a gun, but by encouraging their hearts.
i'm proud of my brother and his fellow soldiers for being the best frontline ambassadors of our country. things aren't perfect, but i am encouraged to see the stranglehold of evil being fought through the hearts of children, i think that's really where the true war will be won.
