as a faithful year round flip-flop wearer. through summer heat, to snowy days i've been called crazy and insane. which, i might be. but people take notice for their own varied reasons. i recently read that Saint Teresa of Avila started her reformed convent where they changed from wearing shoes to sandals. thus giving her reform the name "discalced" which means "unshod." now that's a monastic order i'd fit in with.
i knew i liked this girl through her quest to find authentic prayerlife. now it's confirmed, i like her cause she went without shoes... and the prayerlife thing is pretty cool too.
