as the scriptures say, "it is done." however, what is done now is the lay witness mission our church participated in. i have my issues (due in part to my own tiredness going into the weekend) and i have my joys with the whole thing, i can't deny that it wasn't a positive for our church & youth community. i won't write a long article on it, i'll suggest reading from johnathon's blog, he's got a saturday synopsis.
we just finished our evening celebration service as a church. this was the first unveiling of the KuvAnant praise team our youth have put together. they've worked really hard, practiced a ton of hours over a short period of time to get ready for this and future moments and they were wonderful. they played just fabulously, but most importantly they helped lead our congregation into a spirit of worship that we don't have too often.
like some proud dad i was at the verge of tears being present with them 1 for the joy & 2 because i know they were having fun and living up to what they wanted to be, a worship group. our congregation rocked too, they lifted them and all the other leaders from the weekend up it was great and it is my hope that this is a springboard for some even greater ministry from an already great church.
