breaking up is hard to do

erin and i have been house hunting for quite some time now. first it was trying to figure out what part of the area to live in. then money, then house searching. last week we spent time looking at this historic home in old hickory village which fit the price range we were comfortable with yet had some fixing up to do, which was fun to imagine doing. we put in a contract, counter offered, and counter to the counter offer. we talked with the home owner and he seemed okay with the counter to the counter offer, but alas, he wanted more money and we are now walking away. so sad. what is funny is that it feels like i'm going through a break up process. luckily there are more fish in the sea.
