on television the other day i heard a politician talking about ranking important global issues on the basis of national threat. ie. darfur was not a threat to our nation, so it wasn't as important as the war on terror. many would disagree with me, but for us to claim a Christian state, that is some whacked out perspective. i'd suggest that civil unrest around the world is just as much a global threat, if we could tend to the heart of the world then i would rest that infrared hate would be minimal.
