i have gotten some response (mostly email) from people seeing my name listed for vote as a general conference delegate. art throws out my write up and people started talking about "greasing palms."
this makes me think, what does one do to "grease" a palm in this circumstance? i decided to look it up.

we methodists like to eat, so they could be referencing the use of fats. maybe art thinks i should start changing the oil of cars in the annual conference parking lot. that could win points. i don't think it has anything to do with money, i am a youth minister, i have no money. not sure people would like me to put grease on them. i doubt my chances to get elected would be hindered if i started killing. maybe i'll just make some buttons
