i like many, have been watching the live earth stuff. though my watching is over the hours of highlight footage, not hour by hour, minute by minute. observations
- why do so many people insist on recording a concert with their cheap video cameras, known as a cell phone? honestly, just live with the moment, don't consume it. prediction, youtube will have a surge of uploads tomorrow
- are roger waters and david gilmour going agreeing to being pink floyd seperately? i swore i saw david at the concert for diana and today roger.
- i am not a big madonna fan, but boy can she entertain. super creative & to do this for so long, amazing
- these live earth short films for commercials are kinda... annoying, ie. i don't need a two minute film on how to purchase energy efficient bulbs
- a question i always have with this type of music event.. does this really do anything? or is this just rehashing what we think is a creative venue to get out a message?
- the smashing pumpkins are a little off their game, i was hoping for a bit more
- al gore showed up at two sites from my observation, how much gas was used to fly him around? hmm.. is he really the figure head behind combating climate change?
- if i were to make a band, it'd look like linkin park.. don't know why, but i would.. probably cause i can't scream or rap
- looking forward to seeing the beastie boys (on internet), maybe because licensed to ill was my first bought album (if you count spending 12 dollars trying to win it at one of those cheesy carnival games) those Jewish guys can't do any wrong
- i can't tell who are the better audiences, it doesn't look like the it is my home state of new jersey
- i never knew that t-shirts were the way to say something when you have a microphone and millions of people listening to you
- i will be checking out cat stevens (yusuf) for sure over the net of course
