malcolm gladwell, words to youth ministry

i have been pondering this ted talk by malcolm gladwell. the things that i am thinking.. after this new creation of spaghetti sauce (you will need to watch the video to understand that), what happened to how people view church? interesting too, the youth that we minister today all grew up after this shift. so how does that affect the way we do youth ministries? how does this affect youths viewpoint of how church has been done (especially for those that agree with the saying that the umc does church really well for the 1950's)?
